To Our Valued Customers,
COVID-19 is an unprecedented emergency, and all of us at Semihandmade are monitoring it closely. I’d like to share three thoughts on how we are approaching this evolving situation:
1) Protecting Semihandmade employees is our top priority. We are in the process of transitioning as many employees to remote work as possible, canceling all nonessential travel, and being mindful of the challenges presented by unexpected child care, emotional uncertainty, and potential illness.
2) We will do everything we can to maintain the high standards that define Semihandmade products. We work with some of the best manufacturing partners in the country, and they have assured us that nothing at this point should affect fulfillment. That said, as we are all aware, things are changing daily, and so we are extending all of our lead times by one week for samples, hardware, floating shelves, and bathroom and kitchen fronts. We promise to be as transparent as possible in all company communications if this changes.
3) We are nothing without you, our friends and customers. The coming weeks will be challenging, and we ask in advance for your patience and understanding. We are all in this together, and we hope everyone can prioritize their health and safety.
